About Us

Persistent:   I am currently a thirty-something "stay-at-home mom" but have held positions previously teaching in early childhood education, serving in ministry and even as a barista at a cafe.  Women's Ministry is where I am serving right now in our local church as I recently decided to try something new.  When I give myself a time-out I enjoy reading, scrapbooking and going on dates with my husband.  I'm calling myself Persistent because I've taken some falls in my walk with the Lord but always get up and keep on going.  One verse I recently found in Psalms that spoke to me says,
119:5 Oh, that my actions would consistently
reflect your decrees!
6 Then I will not be ashamed
when I compare my life with your commands.
7 As I learn your righteous regulations,
I will thank you by living as I should!
8 I will obey your decrees.
Please don't give up on me!  (italics are mine)
Outspoken:  I think you all can get a pretty good picture of who I am according to my blog name. :) Although I am outspoken at times, okay a lot of times, God is daily teaching me to zip my lips and be still. This is hard. Really hard!

I am a 29 year old (I'm hanging onto every second) "Stay at home mom" that is married to my college sweetheart (Do people still say sweetheart?). Oh, and I have a pretty cool dog, who was sadly replaced by my sweet little baby girl.

Things I heart: Adoption, Pinterest (totally addicted), Monkey Bread, Spending time with my family, Beaches, and Worshiping my Savior. **Obviously these are not in any order :)

Favorite verse at this moment:   Jeremiah 29:12-14a
12 Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. 13 You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. 14 I will be found by you.

Imperfect:

Here's a little about me...
I'm a wife, to a man that is MY man for life!
I'm a mom, to children that refine me everyday!
I'm a daughter, to parents that model God's unconditional love!
I'm a sister, to my best friends!
I'm a friend, to women that challenge me, love me, and encourage me to grow!
I'm Imperfect, and in my imperfection God's perfection has a chance to shine.
